Matthew Smith joined Erika’s Lighthouse in February 2025. He has worked in the nonprofit world for more than 20 years, telling stories (and raising funds) so people with disabilities could enjoy inclusive lives, so ex-offenders had the support and opportunity to become productive members of their communities, so people in disaster- and war-ravaged countries had access to basic human needs, and so our nation’s schools could support child health to the fullest possible degree. He is thrilled to bring his experience to the Erika’s Lighthouse team and helping to make sure that every child has good mental health.
