What is the Positivity Pledge?

31 Days To Put Some Good Into The World

What is the Positivity Pledge Campaign?

The Positivity Pledge is Erika's Lighthouse's Mental Health Awareness Month campaign, held every May. It offers a month-long series of daily and weekly activities for staff, students, families, and schools — all designed to promote positive action, reduce mental health stigma, and normalize conversations about mental health. Content is available in both English and Spanish.

How does the Positivity Pledge work?

Positivity Pledge runs throughout the month of May, inviting participants to complete a new activity each day. Here is how the campaign is structured:

  • Daily activities for staff, students, and families to complete individually
  • Weekly activities for schools or clubs to host as a group

Why run a Schoolwide Campaign?

Schoolwide Campaigns promote positive action and reduce mental health stigma by fostering an inclusive school culture. They include activities at three levels:

  • Daily activities for staff, students, and families
  • Weekly activities for the school or club to host

All content is available in both English and Spanish.
