10 Advantages of Our Programs

No cost — always
Our resources and the support we offer to help implement them will always be available at no cost to educators.

Real Teens, Real Empowerment
Teen voices telling their real-life stories make a difference. Not only do our diverse, authentic videos speak directly to every teen in the classroom, but we also regularly update our video content to keep it fresh and relevant.

Skills-Based
Our programs are designed to equip students with the skills to recognize the signs and symptoms of depression in themselves and their peers — for a lifetime of mental health care.

Upstream, preventative conversations
Educators using our programs reach more students by talking about depression, a common yet serious mood disorder that acts as an entry conversation for mental health and suicide prevention. We believe that more upstream approaches to school mental health make a difference in prevention.

Wraparound programming
We offer more than a standalone curriculum. We believe in impacting the entire school by promoting inclusive cultures through our four program pillars: Classroom Education, Empowerment Clubs, Family Engagement, and School Policy & Staff.

Self-referral empowers students
Self-referral cards that empower students to take control of their mental health by asking for help for themselves or a friend. When empowered and supported — the teens can make the best decisions for themselves.

Impacting every stakeholder
By offering everyone a common vocabulary, universal handouts, and easy-to-use language, schools can normalize conversations around mental health, positively impacting every stakeholder in a school community from students and staff to their families.

One-on-one support
We make talking about mental health easy. All of our resources are designed to be ready to use by any student, educator or family member that needs them.

Turn-key
We make talking about mental health easy. All of our resources are designed to be ready to use by any student, educator, or family member who needs them.

Customizable resources
We want our information and resources to be meaningful to every stakeholder — students, staff, and families. Our curricula are adaptable with one to four-day lessons, and over 70% of our resources can be customized with school logos, specific names of individuals, and more.
