What if I cannot find my school listed on the Create an Account or a survey form?

Why can't I find my school in the selection list?

If your school doesn't appear in the selection list, it is most likely a search entry issue or the school may not be included in the Erika's Lighthouse database. Try the steps below first, then check the eligibility reasons if the school still doesn't appear.

How do I search for my school correctly?

School names and data are pulled directly from our database. To find your school, verify the following:

  • Ensure you are selecting the correct state and typing out the full name (i.e. Ohio, not OH).
  • Type slowly — the list populates as you type, so your school may appear after a few characters.
  • Try your school's previous name if it changed recently.

Why might my school not be in the Erika's Lighthouse database?

Your school may not appear in our database for the following reasons:

  • International schools are not automatically included in the Erika's Lighthouse database.
  • Only K–12 schools are included. Colleges, universities, and preschools are not supported.
