What is a Professional Community Ambassador?
A Professional Community Ambassador (PCA) is an educator or school professional who volunteers to promote Erika’s Lighthouse free mental health education resources to school communities nationwide. PCAs help expand awareness of youth mental health by bringing these tools directly to the educators and counselors who need them most. PCAs are typically:
- School social workers
- School counselors
- Health educators
Other school professionals may also qualify, as roles can vary.
These volunteers also present at professional conferences at the regional, national, and international levels.How do I become a Professional Community Ambassador?
To become a PCA, fill out the interest form. Once submitted, you can expect to hear back within a few business days. A member of the Erika's Lighthouse team will follow up with everything you need to get started.
