What is your mission?
Erika’s Lighthouse is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating and raising awareness about adolescent depression, encouraging good mental health, and breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
Our mission is to ensure that no young person feels alone in their struggle with depression. We are a nonprofit organization that provides free depression education and suicide prevention programs, building inclusive school cultures where mental health is understood, stigma is reduced, and help-seeking is normalized. We create upper elementary, middle school and high school mental health, depression and suicide prevention programs equipping educators, families, and students with the mental health literacy and help-seeking skills they need — so every young person knows they are not alone and always has somewhere to turn.
