Supporting comprehensive mental health education and student well-being

Erika's Lighthouse is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating young people about mental health, reducing stigma, and preventing suicide. State Requirements / Best Practice

Georgia's HB 268 and HB 198 mandate suicide awareness and prevention training for both school staff and students in grades 6 through 12. Additionally, school districts are required to designate student-led youth violence prevention clubs to sustain ongoing awareness activities.
