Erika’s Lighthouse ’23-’24 Program Report

Erika’s Lighthouse releases an annual program report to highlight the impact that our programs have made in schools nationwide with our Level II and Level III classroom education. The  Program Report for the 2023-2024 school year also recognizes Erika’s Lighthouse’s 20th Anniversary and takes a look at how our programs have changed over the course of 20 years as well as gives a scope of our goals for the future.

 

The highlights of the Erika’s Lighthouse ’23-’24 Program Report include:

  • 96& of students were able to identify at least one trusted adult.
  • 85% of students reported being comfortable speaking with a trusted adult about their mental health
  • 73% of students agree that they would be comfortable talking to a friend about their mental health.
  • 83% of students demonstrates an increase in knowledge around mental health and depression
  • 87% of students reported they would speak to an adult if their friend was talking about suicide or self-harm.
All evaluation data is from Erika’s Lighthouse Level II and Level III Classroom Education programs from the 2023-2024 school year. The data is from ~11,400 pre-program surveys and ~10,200 post-program surveys.
