Reanna Zappavigna is a health and physical education teacher. She has taught elementary PE, middle school PE and currently teaches high school health and PE. Reanna teaches in the high school she once attended and takes pride in being able to give back to her community by working with its young people. Her goal is to provide her students with the needed life skills to live long, happy, and healthy lives, which Erika’s Lighthouse has been a part of. Reanna learned about Erika’s Lighthouse during her 2nd year of teaching high school health education. She began implementing some of the lessons and activities, which went so well that she added more. The resources are so valuable and students so strongly connected with the content that Erika’s Lighthouse is now a foundation in her mental health education programming.
