She is a nationally recognized school wellness leader and public health educator with over a decade of experience advancing student wellbeing, health equity, and whole-child initiatives across K–12, higher education, healthcare, and community systems. Dr. Weatherspoon holds a Master’s in Educational Studies from Duquesne University and a Doctor of Education in Health and Physical Activity from the University of Pittsburgh.
